Pregnancy Test

Today, we want to go doctor to check Dian’s pregnancy. What? Is Dian pregnant? We think so. She’s already late more than one month from her menstruation schedule. Before we decide to check with the doctor, we already bought and try two test packs. Hehehe..

First test pack we bought at Bandung at one night in the end of December 2007. Because this is the first time we bought it, so we buy kind of test pack that looks like box (expensive one!! Hahaha.. cheapskate!!) Funny thing is after we bought it we both don’t really know how to use it because they write manuals and description in f**king Japanese language. Hahaha.. But from the picture, Dian could figure out how to use it. Then she tried the test pack tomorrow in early morning. But sadly, the test pack show negative result.

Second test pack we bought end of January 2008. Because we curious and eager to know whether Dian is pregnant or not. This time, learn from past experience, we bought different type of test pack, cheaper type (but still Rp 20.000 thought). The commercial name is Sensitif. After Dian tried this test pack, we could see two strips there, but the second strip is nearly difficult to see. So, still we cannot get any confirmation about Dian’s pregnancy after this two test packs. Then, we decided to see doctor, so we can get better (and correct) confirmation about whether Dian is pregnant or not.

Then we decided to go to Bunda Hospital at Teuku Cik Ditiro, Menteng. We choose this hospital because the place is not too far from where we stay right now. Saturday afternoon, 12 January 2008, we ready to see the doctor. The doctor name is Dr Budianto Barnas. This is first time for us to see doctor and talk about pregnancy. Hahaha… really!! Fever is the most cases I have previously when I meet doctor. If you try using your logic, why you have to see doctor this time if you don’t sick? Hehehe… Nobody said hat pregnancy is kind of sick, right?

Back to the topic! Then the doctor tried to check whether Dian is pregnant or not. He is using ultrasonography to see anything (or anyone) inside Dian’s belly. He moving his transducer around Dian’s belly, but unfortunately he could not find any sign of pregnancy now. He said maybe because the age of baby is too young. He offering alternative way to check it by using stick transducer that he has to put it through from Dian genital. Uppss.. Yup! That’s right.. But, Dian is not comfortable with this method and we decided to wait couple of weeks to see if anything happen.

So, even though we cannot see anything, the doctor still said Dian have probability of pregnant. He gave Dian vitamin and asked her to not to work too heavy and don’t forget to take a rest. Okay ..Then, nothing we can do now unless waiting for couple more weeks and come back here to have next consultation.
